Hebrew Dating

Hebrew Months:

1; Nisan/Abib (mid-March)
2; Ziv/Iyyar (mid-April)
3; Sivan (mid-May)
4; Tammuz
5; Ab (mid-July)
6; Elul
7; Tishri/Ethanim (mid-September)
8; Marheshwan/Bul
9; Chislev/Kislew (mid-November)
10; Tebeth (mid-December)
11; Shevat
12; Adar (mid-February)

The first month "Aviv" literally meant spring,
to keep the seasons within the months in sync
it is plausible to assume that the last month Adar
lasted for as long as barley ripened (when the spring came).

Hebrew Week:

1; Yom Rishon (First Day)
2; Yom Sheni (Second Day)
3; Yom Shlishi (Third Day)
4; Yom Revi'i (Fourth Day)
5; Yom Chamishi (Fifth Day)
6; Yom Shishi (Sixth Day)
7; Yom Shabbat (Rest Day)
